Vintage that's actually vintage
Pimpin N Thriftin started with a love of vintage jerseys and a lifelong passion for sports, and turned into a hand-curated shop for people who want real throwback sportswear — not reprints, not bulk resale lots, and not guesswork.
Sports has been a passion for as long as I can remember, and it was a love of vintage jerseys specifically that turned that into a business. A vintage Roger Clemens Red Sox jersey is one of the finds that's stuck with me the most — the kind of piece that reminds me why this started in the first place. Every item that goes up for sale here gets that same level of attention before it's listed.
Three checks, every time
Sourced by hand
We pull individual pieces from estate sales, thrift runs and private collections. We don't buy bulk resale lots, so nothing here is mass-produced inventory dressed up as vintage.
Checked for era and authenticity
Tag style, stitch pattern, fabric weight and print method are all checked against known production runs for that team, brand and year before anything is listed for sale.
Photographed and described as-is
We photograph actual flaws, fading and repairs rather than using stock photography, and we call out condition honestly in every listing.
"Sports has always been my passion. It was falling in love with vintage jerseys specifically that turned into this shop. I still think about the vintage Roger Clemens Red Sox jersey I found — that's the kind of piece that reminds me why I do this."
Why "one of one" matters
Most resale stores buy inventory in bulk lots and restock the same items repeatedly. We don't. Every piece we list is a single, individual item — when it sells, it's gone, and we won't be relisting an identical one next week. That's slower and less scalable than bulk resale, but it's also the only way we can actually vouch for what we're selling.
If you're ever unsure about a piece before buying, message us through the contact page and we'll walk you through exactly what we checked.
