Sizing vintage correctly
Vintage sizing doesn't match modern fits. A tag that says "Large" in a 1994 tee can measure closer to a modern Medium. Use actual body measurements below instead of relying on the tag alone — every listing includes the measurements that matter for that category.
Jerseys
Measured pit-to-pit (flat, armpit to armpit) and length (collar to hem).
| Size | Pit-to-pit | Length |
|---|---|---|
| S | 20″ | 27″ |
| M | 22″ | 28″ |
| L | 24″ | 29″ |
| XL | 26″ | 30″ |
| XXL | 28″ | 31″ |
Starter jackets
Measured pit-to-pit and sleeve length (shoulder seam to cuff). 90s Starter jackets commonly run a size larger than modern outerwear.
| Size | Pit-to-pit | Sleeve |
|---|---|---|
| M | 23″ | 25″ |
| L | 25″ | 26″ |
| XL | 27″ | 27″ |
| XXL | 29″ | 28″ |
Hats
Most vintage snapbacks are adjustable one-size. Fitted caps are marked by exact head circumference (e.g. 7 1/4) on the inside sweatband — we list the fitted size in every listing where it applies.
Tees
Measured pit-to-pit and length. Single-stitch 90s tees commonly run smaller than the tag suggests.
| Size | Pit-to-pit | Length |
|---|---|---|
| S | 17″ | 26″ |
| M | 19″ | 27″ |
| L | 21″ | 28″ |
| XL | 23″ | 29″ |
